OFFICE ORDER
The Board of Directors GEPCO in its 187th meeting held on 13.08.2025, against Agenda Item No. 9.4, has been pleased to accord approval for grant of one month’s running basic pay (as on 30th June, 2025) as Honorarium to all GEPCO employees based on performance subject to the following parameters: –
- Honorarium will be admissible to all GEPCO employees working on regular / contract / Deputationist / Lump sum Pay Package / daily wages basis / Part Time workers.
- The length of service of the GEPCO employees should be six months or more during the financial year 2024-25.
- Honorarium will be 70% of the lump sum pay package to employees hired on market based salary on contract.
- One month pay to all daily wages employees / Part Time workers commensurate to their corresponding pay (to be calculated on the basis of working days of the previous month).
- The employees on extra-ordinary leave or on deputation to other departments would not be eligible.
- The employees who are facing disciplinary proceedings on account of involvement in acts of gross misconduct i.e. corruption, theft of electricity, embezzlement and fraud etc. within department as well as in NAB/FIA, will not be eligible. In case of exoneration from the charges, the employee will be entitled for Honorarium.
- Those employees penalized with “Major Penalty” under GEPCO Disciplinary Policy-2021 during Financial Year 2024-25 will not be entitled for honorarium.
- The employees who remained under suspension for more than six months are not entitled. In case suspension remains less than six months and the employee has been exonerated of the charges, such employees will be entitled for the Honorarium.
